- WCAG contrast checker — AA/AAA scoring with a real text preview at three sizes and a one-click "suggest a passing variation".
- UUID + ULID generator — UUID v4, v7, and ULIDs in bulk, with timestamp decoding for v7 and ULID.
- Jobs — curated tech roles from companies like Stripe, Anthropic and Cloudflare, refreshed twice daily.
- Tools directory — a catalogue of developer tools across IDEs, AI coding assistants, CI/CD, databases, monitoring and more.
- Career toolkit — free job-application tools: ATS resume checker, AI cover letter generator, interview question bank, salary negotiation scripts.
- News — daily aggregated posts from top engineering blogs and Hacker News.
- Blog — long-form writing on tech hiring, AI/ML careers and engineering career paths.
Roles are filtered to tech disciplines only: Backend, DevOps, AI/ML, Security, Frontend, Data, Mobile, QA, Product, Design, DevRel and Quant. Pair the listings with the career toolkit to sharpen your application before you apply.
The Code Deck indexes roles from company career pages automatically. If your company uses Greenhouse or one of our supported sources, your open tech roles are likely already listed for free.

The lab is a growing collection of small dev tools and AI experiments. The current AI experiment is a codebase orientation agent that reads a public GitHub repo and writes a senior-engineer-style tour: what it is, how it's organised, where to start reading. Smaller utilities include a cron explainer, a JSON formatter & validator, a JWT decoder & verifier, a WCAG contrast checker, and a UUID + ULID generator. All run client-side or self-hosted, with no third-party API calls in the loop.
